Am I just retarded or is there no obvious way to post youtube vids anymore in the new compose screen?

A direct link to a YouTube video should embed the video where it is placed. I suppose I should emphasize should .

It works the same for photos, using just a link in the text. Though I prefer to use the photo uploader so I can be sure the link will work. Why they removed the video embedding icon is beyond me, but the Kinja designers don't seem to be the most helpful lot.
